Our Pouilly-Vinzelles “En Paradis” 2019 reveals a pale yellow hue. Its nose discloses aromas of yellow fruits, vanilla and honey. Its mouth is round with notes of almond paste. Nice minerality in the finish.

Expressive and balanced aromas, with fresh spiced vegetal notes. Straightforward and mature on the palate, with fine and strong tannins that provide structure. Handpicking, selection of clusters, destemming and grain selection. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28°C with selected yeasts. When alcoholic fermentation is completed, it is aged in concrete and stainless steel tanks. Lightly filtered while bottled.

A custom cuvee made for European Cellars by Martin Codax, the Burgans Albarino is named after the hill on the cooperative is located. Burgans is a cuvee made from a small selection of vineyard plots in the Salnes sub-zone of Rias-Baixas, which have a characteristic pit-fruit quality and richness in addition to the bracing minerality for which the sub-zone is famous.
