Handcrafted primarily from those highly regarded Rutherford grapes, Handwritten’s 2010 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is made from 85% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, strategically blended with 9% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Sirah to create a pure classic flavor and aroma. Then wine offers a lighter body than the Winery’s other wines of this vintage.

Expert tasting notes reveal, “Elegant aromas of cocoa nib, black tea leaf, and violet are well complimented by ripe fruit and smooth tannins on the palate. Enjoy now with a firm decant of up to three hours or cellar for five to seven years.”

Further, this high-end Cabernet Sauvignon wine exhibits earthy undertones of saddle leather and cigar box balanced by fruit notes of blackberries and dried lavender. Over time the tannins have melted away perfectly, leaving a long-lasting finish. This Cab is a perfect accompaniment for braised short ribs or grilled pork chops.
